Welsh Corgi: Personality & Health Issues
Welsh Corgi:

The Welsh Corgi has made a name for itself as a working breed - rushing small game, guarding buildings, ratting, and herding.  This last task is accomplished by biting the heels of the cattle, then dropping to the ground to avoid being kicked.  They are tough, fearless little dogs, quick in movement despite their short legs.  The Corgi makes an excellent house pet, and are just as happy in a city apartment as they are on a country estate.  They are amusing animals, extremely intelligent and loyal, affectionate, and great with kids.  You should take your Corgi for daily walks and, as often as possible, allowed to run free in an open area.  Like all dogs close to the ground, the Welsh Corgi tends to suffer from intestinal chills.  Dry it well, especially the stomach and chest, after it has been out in wet weather.  Brush its coat regularly.
