Homemade Dog Treats: Bacon
Bacon Bites For Dogs
Ingredients:
Three cups whole wheat flour
Half cup milk
One egg
Quarter cup vegetable oil or bacon grease
One tsp garlic powder
Four crumbled slices of bacon
Half cup cold water
Preparation Instructions:
Mix ingredients together thoroughly. Roll out on a floured surface to 1/2 - 1/4" thickness. Bake for 35-40 minutes in a 325 degree oven.

Doggy Bacon Bits
Ingredients:
Six slices crumbled bacon
Four well beaten eggs
One Eight cup bacon grease
One cup water
Half cup non fat powdered milk
Two cup graham flour
Two cup wheat germ
Half cup cornmeal
Preparation Instructions:
Mix ingredients with a strong spoon; drop heaping tablespoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet. Bake in a 350 oven for 15 minutes. Turn off oven and leave cookies on baking sheet in the oven overnight to dry out.
